Leads the day-to-day financial, administrative, human resources, and operational management of WRA. Maintains the highest levels of integrity and stewardship in all financial matters; creates an efficient, high-functioning work environment that allows the organization to meet its strategic goals; and maintains compliance with all legal, accounting, and other regulations.
Background:
Prior to joining Western Resource Advocates, Rick worked as the Director of Finance and Administration for the Center for Effective Government (formerly OMB Watch) in Washington, DC; concurrently as Administrative Director for Environment America and U.S. PIRG; and, prior to his work in DC in the 90s, as Administrative Director for Florida PIRG. In the early 90s he was also the cofounder and editor-in-chief of Community News, the largest circulation LGBT newspaper in Florida at that time

Rick has a B.A. in History from the University of South Florida
