Area of Focus
As the Development Director, Darcy leads the vision and strategic oversight of WRA’s fundraising activities. She works closely with WRA’s team of fundraising professionals to connect and engage donors and funders in financially supporting WRA and securing resources to advance specific programmatic and strategic priorities.
Background
Darcy began her career in philanthropy in 2006 and brings experience leading the strategic direction of fundraising programs that inspire growth and reach ambitious goals at local, regional, and national non-profit organizations. As a collaborative and results-oriented fundraising professional, she grew annual fundraising revenue at Impact on Education, the foundation for Boulder Valley public schools, by $1 million annually and launched a $4 million endowment campaign during her tenure. Before this, she worked with donors and community partners to advance conservation across Colorado, serving as the Associate Director of Philanthropy at The Trust for Public Land.
Accomplishments
Darcy serves on the Elevations Foundation board of directors and volunteers with the Institute for Leaders in Development at the University of Denver.
