Time spent outdoors can create a healthier and stronger Nevada.
Help young Nevadans access one of the state’s greatest assets – public lands
Nevada’s landscapes are a core part of our identity and legacy and should be protected for future generations. Research shows that time spent outside has a myriad of health benefits, and all of us deserve the ability to access and enjoy the breathtaking beauty of our public lands.
The Nevada Outdoor Education and Recreation Grant Program provides disproportionately impacted students in Nevada with opportunities to experience the outdoors to improve academic achievement and personal wellness, inspire an appreciation of nature, and build up the next generation of Nevada’s environmental stewards.
At WRA, we’re working to get funding for this program to inspire young Nevadans for generations to come.
Time spent outdoors creates healthier, happier students – your voice helps all young Nevadans access the great outdoors.
