There are several ways you can provide tax benefits for yourself, your family and other beneficiaries while supporting Western Resource Advocates’ work to protect the West’s land, air, and water.
Can I make a legacy gift?
Whether you think of yourself as rich or poor, or somewhere in between, you can make a legacy gift to Western Resource Advocates. Any size gift can make a large impact.
Why should I choose Western Resource Advocates?
For over 25 years, WRA has created real protections for the West’s land, air, and water, and communities. And, with 85% of your gift used for programs, you can be assured that your gift supports the work you believe in.
What do I need to do?
Make sure you have an up-to-date will (or living trust) that reflects your charitable intentions. Without these documents, you surrender control over your property and assets to the courts. Then contact your financial advisor (a financial planner, lawyer, or accountant) and ask for help in establishing a charitable gift. You can leave stocks, bequests in your will, or designate Western Resource Advocates as a beneficiary of your insurance policy or retirement plan.
