We offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities for businesses and organizations of all sizes. We’ll work with you to support and share your philanthropy with a broader community of people.
Workplace Giving & Matching Gifts
Many employers are working to support their employees in giving to causes they care about and often provide incentives such as matching funds that can help you increase your giving at no cost to you. Take advantage of these programs by making a gift straight from your paycheck to Western Resource Advocates. Ask your employer if they participate in workplace giving and use these resources to leverage your gift to WRA.
Charitable IRA Rollover
You can transfer funds directly from a traditional or Roth IRA to WRA to avoid a distribution adding to your tax burden. If you are 70 ½ years or older, you may transfer up to $100,000 per year directly from your IRA to WRA. The amount transferred counts toward the IRA’s required minimum distribution and allows you to make a gift that is not subject to the 60% deduction limits on charitable contributions. Talk to your financial and tax advisors to determine if a charitable IRA rollover makes sense for you.
Donor-Advised Fund
Many different entities help people manage their philanthropy through donor-advised funds, a giving tool that combines favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. Grants can be recommended from your donor-advised fund to WRA at any time.

Memorial & Special Occasion Gift
You can celebrate a significant occasion, recognize someone special, or commemorate a milestone through a charitable gift. If you’re honoring someone with your gift, we can work with you to notify them. Gifts can also be made in remembrance of a loved one or special person. Please identify your memorial or honorary gift by designating it on this gift form.
Create a Personal Fundraising Page
Add a charitable component to any personal accomplishment or celebration – we make it easy to set up a campaign: choose a name, pick a photo, share your story. You can give to WRA through your everyday shopping and travel. Consider exploring 1% for the Planet (as an individual or business), King Soopers Community Rewards, and JetSet Offset. WRA also greatly appreciates donated vehicles through CARS.
