Area of Focus
Meagan is part of the Administration team and is the Human Resource Director. She develops relationships across the various regions we work in (and beyond!) to bring in the best candidates for our jobs and internships. Meagan ensures new staff and interns have a smooth start to their journeys at WRA. She is always looking for ways to improve our internal processes and keep WRA a great place to work!
Background
Meagan joined the team as our first Recruitment and Hiring Manager in 2019 and was promoted to Human Resources Director in 2022. Prior to that she worked at Elevate Energy in Chicago, helping to ensure the benefits of clean and efficient energy use reach those who need it most. Meagan comes with a wide array of experience in growing a non-profit, including internal operations, streamlined onboarding, internal communications, staff retreats, and mentorship programs. She is a certified yoga instructor and a graduate of the Second City Improv Program.

- Bachelor of Science in History from Towson University in Baltimore
