As the Accounting Associate, Julie supports the smooth functioning of WRA’s financial processes. Julie is responsible for various financial duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets records maintenance, recording financial transactions, various monthly reconciliations, assisting with financial report preparation, and assisting with the annual audit.
Background#
Julie began her studies in fashion merchandising with a focus on sustainability, which led her to spend time in Hong Kong and Beijing learning the full scope of the fashion cycle. Seeing the industry’s environmental impact firsthand was eye-opening and shaped her professional values. She transitioned from fashion into an administrative and accounting role for a cell tower and broadcast antenna repair company. This career shift expanded her skill set, giving her hands-on experience in small business operations and deepening her accounting expertise.
