Colorado’s Climate Blueprint – Executive Summary
There is a clear path for Colorado to do its part to address climate change. Our research shows that policies currently in place are projected to keep carbon emission levels flat at best and will not drive the reductions in carbon pollution that are needed to meet the goals of the executive order and the Paris Climate Agreement. Our report calls on the state legislature and current and future governors to take concrete steps to reduce carbon pollution by 45% by 2030 and to ensure a healthy and resilient economy.
