The Executive Summary of Colorado's Climate Blueprint, an analysis by Western Resource Advocates and Conservation Colorado of the specific policies that Colorado should implement in order to drive carbon pollution reduction needed to avoid the most severe impacts of climate change.

There is a clear path for Colorado to do its part to address climate change. Our research shows that policies currently in place are projected to keep carbon emission levels flat at best and will not drive the reductions in carbon pollution that are needed to meet the goals of the executive order and the Paris Climate Agreement. Our report calls on the state legislature and current and future governors to take concrete steps to reduce carbon pollution by 45% by 2030 and to ensure a healthy and resilient economy.
