Matthew Hunt is Senior Vice President and ESG (Environmental Social Governance) Officer of Hunt Companies, Inc., a fourth generation family business that invests in real estate and infrastructure markets including investment, property, and asset management as well as construction, development, and lending platforms.
Matthew is in charge of implementing and managing a corporate-wide ESG platform for the portfolio of businesses at Hunt. He is also Managing Partner of Hunt Holdings, LP, a diverse venture capital portfolio focused on early-stage investments made through venture capital funds and directly into start-up companies. Matthew joined his family’s business as a Development Manager in Hawaii overseeing adaptive re-use, commercial, and renewable energy development projects. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder in Environmental Studies and Geography, and his MBA from the Daniel’s School of Business at the University of Denver with a concentration on Real Estate and Finance.
