Area of Focus
Bob represents WRA in Nevada, primarily before the Nevada Public Utilities Commission and the Nevada Legislature. He advocates for policies that will reduce carbon emissions from electric generation by decreasing reliance on fossil-fueled generation, increasing production of renewable energy and encouraging efficient use of electricity. His current work includes advocating in commission proceedings addressing utility resource planning, energy efficiency programs, and transportation electrification programs.
Background
Bob joined WRA in 2015. Previously, he was in private practice in Carson City for 30 years, representing clients before the Nevada Public Utilities Commission, including electric utilities, independent power producers, telecommunications utilities and utility customers. His clients included WRA, whom he represented as outside counsel. Prior to entering private practice, he worked for the Nevada Public Utilities Commission for six years, including four years as staff counsel.
