Area of Focus
As the Senior Development Writer, Nicole engages prospects and donors in advancing WRA’s mission through creative and strategic communications. She identifies and develops ideas, information, and stories – transforming them into compelling and persuasive content that facilitates the understanding of our work and the impact of philanthropy.
Background
Nicole started her career in philanthropy with more than a decade of work on the donor services and fundraising team of The Denver Foundation, Colorado’s oldest and largest community foundation. While there, she was responsible for a portfolio of donor-advised funds and an annual stewardship and communications plan to deepen relationships with donors. She went on to manage a capital campaign for Judi’s House, raising $18+ million to build a purpose-built center for bereaved children and their caregivers. Nicole loves to see the transformative power of philanthropy in action.
