Area of Focus
Mira provides administrative support for WRA’s President Jon Goldin-Dubois and assists with board coordination and communications.
Background
She loves working in environmental and within outdoor-related non-governmental organizations. She’s passionate about relationship building with Tribal communities and collaborative leadership. She started her environmental nonprofit journey when she joined Big City Mountaineers in April 2019. One highlight of her career was attending a five-day rafting trip on the San Juan River with tribal leaders and The Nature Conservancy staff in October 2022. She is incredibly grateful to work with the Indigenous Women’s Leadership Network, alongside WRA board member Heather Tanana and the four Tribal Co-Chairs (Lorelei Cloud, Crystal Tulley-Cordova, Bidtah Becker, Nora McDowell).
Education
- Bachelor of Arts in Geochemistry from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin.
Favorite thing about the West
Being surrounded by like-minded individuals who enjoy nature as much as I do! Also, the winters here are much better than in Wisconsin 😉
