Area of Focus
As Foundation Relations Officer, Mandy secures funding for WRA’s programs by maintaining and growing foundation relationships. She works collaboratively across the team to develop competitive grant proposals, reports, and other stewardship materials.
Background
Originally from New England, Mandy has worked across sectors in the West for over a decade. While she has worked for industry, higher education, and nonprofits, the throughline has always been relationship building and writing.
Prior to joining WRA in June 2024, she most recently worked at Metropolitan State University of Denver as the Director of Development for Foundation Relations. She has done qualitative research both in market research and as a graduate student at the Universities of Colorado and Oregon. However, much of her career has focused on fundraising at mission-oriented organizations including the American Indian College Fund and Rocky Mountain Service Employment and Redevelopment (RMSER). She is a graduate of Impact Denver and a passionate advocate for social justice.

Favorite thing about the West
The astonishing scale of the natural landscapes, the joy of seeing snowcapped mountains, and the sunshine. I will always be grateful to the West for making me fall in love with the outdoors.
