Area of Focus
Darlie Johnson provides a full range of administrative and legal support to the Nevada Clean Energy Team.
Background
Darlie’s love of nature was fostered in her hometown of Reno, Nevada. She grew up skiing, hiking, rollerblading, and biking around the hilly streets of her home and continues to enjoy outdoor hobbies as an adult. Her passion for the outdoors blossomed working as an Adventure and Recreational Tour Guide at her childhood summer camp in the redwoods outside of Santa Cruz, California. Watching groups that she guided through the ropes course in the trees connect with nature and each other helped her realize the importance of protecting our natural world and preserving its beauty. Before WRA, she worked for a criminal defense law firm, where she grew to appreciate the law’s ability to effect change. Darlie is thrilled to combine her passions for law, public health, and environmental protections in her work at WRA.
Education

Favorite thing about the West
I love the ability to explore many different ecosystems and landscapes all within a few hundred miles of each other.
