Background
Allie joined WRA in 2024 with a holistic background in multimedia communications strategy and marketing. She grew up in Boulder, Colorado and spent her childhood exploring remote corners of the Interior West alongside Utah-, Colorado- and Arizona-based family members and friends.
Before joining WRA, she served as the Multimedia Communications Manager for the Colorado State University College of Natural Sciences, translating complex scientific research into digestible and human-centered stories for a wide array of key audiences in both digital and print. She has expertise in PR writing, photography, videography, data-backed social media strategy, graphic design and print publication development. She is excited to marry her lifelong passion for political advocacy and environmental protection with her career in mission-driven communications.
Accomplishments
In 2020, Allie developed a diversity, equity and inclusion focused storytelling series to bring awareness to the sciences’ racist and colonial origins, while uplifting and celebrating the stories of historically marginalized people in STEM. The series ran for her four-year tenure at CSU’s College of Natural Sciences and was translated across digital and print mediums.
Allie overhauled the College of Natural Sciences social media strategy and implemented robust data-tracking and content management systems, yielding an average 28% engagement rate (on reach) and a 220% increase in Instagram followers over four years.
