Without smart policy, data center development threatens to increase our reliance on climate-warming fossil fuels, increase electricity bills for households already burdened with ballooning costs, and consume water resources that we simply don’t have to spare. But there’s a better path forward.
In our groundbreaking report last year, we described the challenges posed by data centers and outlined common-sense solutions to those challenges. Today, we’re leveraging our findings to advance these solutions in state policies and protect the West we love.
