October 6 & 8 | Virtual Climate Conversations: Colorado Proposition 137
Our lands and waters aren’t renewable resources. Once they’re damaged or developed, they are very difficult to recover. That’s why WRA experts have been leading the charge on a 2026 ballot measure to address the urgent need for sustainable, long-term conservation funding in Colorado. If approved by voters in November, Proposition 137 will provide approximately $175 million a year to protect land and water and reduce the risk of wildfires — all without raising taxes.
In our upcoming virtual Climate Conversations, we’ll spend the hour together exploring:
- How Prop 137 will protect Colorado’s best asset — nature
- What you can do to help it cross the finish line in November
- Answer your live questions about what the measure will do, how WRA was involved, and why conservation funding is so important
