Our board is one of our chief assets, providing exemplary leadership to further the mission of our organization. Board members guide our work fighting climate change and its impacts in the West. They help govern the organization, raise support, and build our network of partners.

Christopher Robinson

Christopher Robinson is the CEO and co-owner of The Ensign Group, L.C., which owns, operates, and/or manages over one million acres of private and public lands located in Utah, Idaho, and Wyoming. He has extensive experience in production agriculture, local government, mineral and resource development, public lands, renewable energy, environmental/wildlife/conservation values, water resources, and real estate investment/development.

He is an elected member and currently chair of the Summit County Council (2009 through present), a trustee and currently vice chair of The Nature Conservancy of Utah (1990 to present), a board member and currently chair of the Utah Local Governments Trust (2015 to present), a trustee of the Weber Basin Water Conservancy District (2022), a commissioner and currently chair of the Central Wasatch Commission (2018 to present), and a member of and currently co-chair of Northern Advisory Council of the Colorado River Authority of Utah (2022).

He is married to Rochelle Allen Robinson, and they are the parents of four married children. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Accountancy from the University of Utah. He resides in Park City, Utah and enjoys outdoor recreation, fitness, and reading history and Spanish literature.
