Colorado’s legislature made a new investment in the state’s rivers and streams this past spring. Thank the lawmakers who made it possible! >>

HB21-1260 was passed unanimously in Colorado’s General Assembly and Senate during the 2021 legislative session. This important legislation provides a $20 million down payment on implementing the Colorado Water Plan, a blueprint for securing the state’s water future.

These funds will be used to support water projects across the state that will protect healthy rivers and help ensure our state’s water future.

This new funding comes at a critical time. As Colorado faces the challenges of a changing climate and increased demand for water, we must prioritize protecting and investing in our waterways. Together, we can safeguard rivers and streams while ensuring we can meet growing water demands.

Thank your lawmakers for their support of healthy rivers, and urge them to continue to be water champions. Send your message now! >>
