Jennifer represents Western Resource Advocates as an attorney and policy advocate before western state public utility commissions, regional energy planning forums, legislative bodies, and other venues where energy decisions impacting the West are made. She is responsible for local engagement in Utah and Colorado and regional engagement throughout the Western Interconnection on such topics as rate design, net metering, electric grid reliability, and regional energy markets (including the California ISO, the Western Energy Imbalance Market, the Mountain West Transmission Group, and the Southwest Power Pool).
Prior to joining WRA in November 2015, Jennifer was employed with the Western Interstate Energy Board where she worked on regional electricity market and power planning issues. Most recently, she managed the State Energy Program for the Utah Governor’s Office of Energy Development, where she oversaw the state’s energy efficiency efforts.
