  •  Vice President of Programs and Strategy: Overseeing a growing team and five direct reports, the VP for Programs and Strategy is a new senior management position that will play a key role in sharpening organizational strategies to drive an aggressive, smart and proactive conservation agenda in the Western United States. While serving as the organization’s senior staff manager and executive-level partner to the organization’s President, the VP for Programs and Strategy will bring a heavy focus to the development of campaign plans that leverage changes in clean energy, healthy rivers and public lands policy throughout our seven state region. Working closely with the President and the senior management team, the VP for Programs and Strategy will create campaign plans, work plans and other structures that help our staff become more effective; build internal collaboration and strength across our programs, states and departments; foster effective political and strategic engagement throughout our Western region; promote strategic communications that increase organizational visibility and builds our reputation; and, cultivate a positive and engaging organizational culture and climate that promotes excellence within the organization.

  • Donor Relations Manager: The Donor Relations Manager will carry out responsibilities associated with the success of the Annual Fund and restricted individual giving. The employee will work to retain existing donors, increase renewal rates, and grow the number of WRA donors. The donor relations manager will play an essential role in coordinating and providing support to WRA’s President, Vice President of Development, Marketing & Program Administration, and Board of Directors in their fundraising activities.
